Taxah Barro Quemado Bowl
Description
Handcrafted in Oaxaca, Mexico using ancestral smoke-firing techniques, each TAXAH piece is uniquely marked by fire, clay, and the natural elements that shape it.
Make a statement at the table with our TAXAH Dinnerware Collection, where contemporary form meets centuries-old craftsmanship. Sculpted entirely by hand from raw, unglazed Oaxacan clay, each piece develops distinctive smoke-fired markings during the firing process, resulting in richly organic textures and tonal variations that make every plate truly one of a kind.
Designed to bring warmth, depth, and sculptural presence to the table, the TAXAH Collection pairs beautifully with both minimalist and layered tablescapes.

PRODUCT CARE
O A X A C A
We are proud to partner with a family-owned, small batch taller (studio) in Oaxaca, Mexico. The tradition of barro (clay) in this community dates back over 2,000 years.
Led by five sisters and one brother, the family is dedicated to the preservation of their heritage while integrating innovative, eco-friendly technologies and sustainable design. In lieu of a wood-fired kiln, they utilize one fueled by alternative energy sources. The kiln uses recycled cooking oil from local restaurants as fuel in order to reduce their environmental impact.
