P A L O  S A N T O was founded on the belief that home is a sacred space, and should be filled with carefully curated pieces that speak to the soul. Our name draws inspiration from the ancient wood, revered for its role in indigenous healing and spiritual purification rituals across Mexico, Central, and South America for centuries. Translating to “holy wood”, Palo Santo has been used to cleanse energy, inviting us to pause, reflect, and connect more deeply with our surroundings.

Each piece in our collection is designed to enhance these moments- whether it's burning sacred wood, savoring a cup of coffee, or indulging in your favorite skincare routine. Crafted from organic materials and shaped by the hands of skilled artisans, these treasures bring intention to our daily lives, grounding us in a deeper connection with the world around us.

We embrace the value of slow design and purposeful consumption. In an age of mass production, we are drawn to pieces that tell stories and evoke emotion. Each item is thoughtfully designed and meticulously crafted, focusing on the materials, the creative process, and the artisans behind them. Made in small-batch, family-owned talleres (studios), each piece takes between 20 days and 14 weeks to complete. We view conscious consumerism as essential to preserving artisanal knowledge and livelihood, and protecting our planet's future.

Our artisan partners share this commitment, ensuring that every step, from the extraction of the raw materials to the finishing touches, respects the earth. We use only locally-sourced, natural materials from sustainable sources, free from synthetic or chemical treatments. Our artisans employ eco-friendly practices, reducing waste, recycling, and using alternative energy sources to minimize their environmental impact.
