Description

Handcrafted in Oaxaca, Mexico using ancestral barro quemado techniques, each ATZIN bowl is uniquely shaped by fire, clay, and the natural elements that define traditional Oaxacan ceramics.

Introducing the ATZIN Clay Footed Bowl — a sculptural yet versatile vessel designed for both functional use and elevated styling. Made entirely by hand from raw, unglazed Oaxacan clay, each piece develops distinctive smoke-fired markings during the firing process, creating richly organic textures and tonal variations that make every bowl truly one of a kind.

Perfect for serving salsa, dips, or small bites, the ATZIN Bowl also functions beautifully as an incense holder, jewelry catchall, or decorative accent layered into shelves and tablescapes.

O A X A C A

We are proud to partner with a family-owned, small batch taller (studio) in Oaxaca, Mexico. The tradition of barro (clay) in this community dates back over 2,000 years.

Led by five sisters and one brother, the family is dedicated to the preservation of their heritage while integrating innovative, eco-friendly technologies and sustainable design. In lieu of a wood-fired kiln, they utilize one fueled by alternative energy sources. The kiln uses recycled cooking oil from local restaurants as fuel in order to reduce their environmental impact.
