Description
The KABIL taza cup features clean lines and a modern form that is sure to elevate any table setting. A stunning matte onyx exterior and glaze interior, its color derives from raw, locally-sourced clay exclusive to the Oaxaca region. Each piece is entirely handcrafted in a process that utilizes no molds, synthetic materials or dyes and takes over 20 days to complete. Part of the Kabil barro negro (black clay) dinnerware collection.

We are proud to partner with a family-owned, small batch taller (studio) in Oaxaca, Mexico. The tradition of barro (clay) in this community dates back over 2,000 years.
Led by five sisters and one brother, the family is dedicated to the preservation of their heritage while integrating innovative, eco-friendly technologies and sustainable design. In lieu of a wood-fired kiln, they utilize one fueled by alternative energy sources. The kiln uses recycled cooking oil from local restaurants as fuel in order to reduce their environmental impact.
