Tributo Handcrafted Clay Vase
Description
The Tributo vase is a P A L O S A N T O original design, conceived as a tribute to ancestral forms once used in ritual and offering. Each vessel is formed entirely by hand — one at a time and without a mold — by women artisans in Oaxaca, using ancestral techniques passed down through generations.
Once shaped, it is fired in the traditional open flame, where clay meets smoke and heat to reveal its distinct finish. Subtle variations in color and texture emerge through this elemental process — a quiet reflection of patience, rhythm, and connection to the earth.
Dimensions: 10” diameter x 4.5” wide x 10” tall
Material: 100% natural Oaxacan clay
Shaped by both hand and nature, each piece is truly one of a kind. Please note that coloration, finishes, and dimensions may vary.

O A X A C A
We are proud to partner with a family-owned, small batch taller (studio) in Oaxaca, Mexico. The tradition of barro (clay) in this community dates back over 2,000 years.
Led by five sisters and one brother, the family is dedicated to the preservation of their heritage while integrating innovative, eco-friendly technologies and sustainable design. In lieu of a wood-fired kiln, they utilize one fueled by alternative energy sources. The kiln uses recycled cooking oil from local restaurants as fuel in order to reduce their environmental impact.
